First, the structure of silicon carbide high temperature furnace
The shell of the high-temperature furnace is made of steel plate, the furnace is made of refractory materials, and the lightweight insulating bricks are built between the furnace and the shell of the furnace body, and are filled with insulating fibers. The heating element silicon carbide rods are distributed on both sides of the furnace, and a limit switch is installed on the furnace shell for safe operation. When the furnace door is opened, the high-temperature furnace is automatically powered off, and the high-temperature furnace is energized and heated when the furnace door is closed.
Second, the installation of silicon carbon rod high temperature furnace
1. Check the appearance of the high temperature furnace, whether the control equipment is in good condition, and the switch should be in the off position.
2. Put the high temperature furnace and control equipment on a stable platform to keep it horizontal. The control equipment should be kept at an appropriate distance from the high-temperature furnace, and not too close to prevent the heat emitted by the high-temperature furnace from affecting the normal operation of the electronic components in the control equipment.
3. Insert the thermocouple into the middle of the furnace from the hole on the back cover of the silicon carbon rod high temperature furnace, and fill the gap between the hole and the thermocouple with asbestos rope. The thermocouple and the control device are connected through the compensation wire. Be careful not to reverse the connection when connecting.
4. Between the load end of the high temperature furnace and the load end of the control equipment, 4~6mm should be used between the power end of the control equipment and the external power supply. Multiple insulated copper wires are connected reliably, and the power supply should be able to provide enough power.
5. The two terminals of the "travel switch" of the high temperature furnace and the socket of the "external switch" of the control equipment are reliably connected through a special connecting line with a plug.
Silicon carbon rod high-temperature furnace is a general-purpose equipment in the laboratory, which can provide higher operating temperature than ordinary box-type high-temperature furnace (muffle furnace), and can be used for sintering in coal, chemical industry, building materials, electric power, metallurgy, geological exploration and scientific research units , heating and heat treatment
